E-mail: bobmead@ncia.net I was born in 1947 in the Philadelphia area. My wife Claire and I have been teaching for twenty-five years. My main hobbies are recreational math, astronomy, singing, and tennis. I am in a Master of Math Ed program at Plymouth State College, NH, USA, and I have recently taken up my own study of number theory. I manage a tennis association in my home town of Haverhill, NH, and serve on the board of the North Country YMCA. I write a monthly column which contains math puzzles or problems for popular consumption, and also write occasional articles on math or astronomical topics.
